This year, the action month calls for a joint effort to protect children from abuse, which requires more involvement of socio-political organisations, families, and the whole community. Reporting child abuse, raising awareness, and building relevant skills cannot rely on the efforts of a few sectors.
At the event, Head of the Ministry's Department of Child Affairs Đặng Hoa Nam said the action month is a chance for Vietnam to strengthen the National Assembly's supervision of the implementation of the law on preventing child abuse, as well as the Prime Minister's directive on ensuring children's rights.
