Export surges by 30% amidst COVID-19

The US is still Vietnam's largest export market. Turnover to this market reached more than 37 billion USD, up nearly 50% over the same period last year.

There are 6 export items with export turnover of more than 5 billion USD such as phones and components, machinery and equipment, tools and spare parts, textiles, footwear, wood and wood products.

One of the reasons for the increase in exports over the past time is said to be that the epidemic in countries has subsided and purchasing power has increased.
