Extension of tax, fees cuts proposed for transportation firms
VTV.vn - The Ministry of Transportation has just proposed to the government that certain taxes and fees continue to be reduced for transportation firms affected by COVID-19.

Specifically, a 70% cut for road maintenance fees should be extended until the end of 2021 instead of mid-year, value-added tax should be reduced to 0%, and corporate income tax should be cut by half.

A six-month deferment was also proposed for outstanding taxes at the end of this year. The ministry also requested that passenger vehicles not be charged to park, stop, or pick up passengers at airports, train stations, and ports, and for service fees at bus stations to be cut by half.

The ministry also suggested that the government extend the 50% cut of landing and taking off fees for domestic flights and continue charging zero VND on specialized aviation services that are not included in the state-regulated price list until the end of this year.
