VTV.vn - On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of General Vo Nguyen Giap, Vietnam Television broadcasts the program "Heart of Vietnam" at 20:10 on Sunday, August 22, 2021 on VTV1 channel.

Those who have a heart for people will live forever in people's hearts. General Vo Nguyen Giap, an excellent disciple of President Ho Chi Minh, lives forever because of he connected millions of Vietnamese hearts.

Not only being the architect of the battles and illustrious feats that earn him the world admiration, General Vo Nguyen Giap left us profound lessons.

A history teacher with a faithful and fervent patriotism, a general whose contributions to the cause of national liberation moved the world, a man with a simple, moderate and humane lifestyle, Vo Nguyen Giap has exceeded the time limit and remains forever in the heart of Vietnamese people.

Structured in four parts: Synchronized Hearts, Encircled Hearts, Hearts of Freedom and Everlasting Hearts, the show tells the audience about the old days and the milestones in the history of the country.

The story teller throughout the program is the memoirs of General Vo Nguyen Giap. During his life of operation and struggle, the General meticulously kept the precious memories in the pages of his memoirs. These precious historical documents contain the general's affection for beloved Uncle Ho, his devotion to the cause of national liberation, as well as the qualities of the Vietnam People's Army and the nation tested by the fire and bullets of war.

In addition to a series of reports and scenes that recreate the historical atmosphere and the timelines associated with the General's name, the conversations on the show sparked the audience's feelings of respect and pride.

The Heart of Vietnam program was produced during the days when the entire country was struggling with the Covid-19 epidemic.
