VTV.vn - Heavy rain continues to persist in the midlands and northern mountainous regions, causing a heightened risk of flash floods and landslides.

From Sunday night to Monday morning, Lào Cai, Bắc Kạn, Vĩnh Phúc, and Quảng Ninh recorded the largest amount of rainfall, ranging from 57 mm to 113 mm.

It has been forecast that on Monday night, the concentration of humidity will cause even greater rainfall in these areas, with the amount of rainfall expected to fall between 30-50mm, even surpassing 80 mm in some places.

As heavy rains bump up the threat of natural disasters, people are advised to leave their residences if unusual signs are detected.
