VTV.vn - The Ho Chi Minh City International Exhibition of Food and Beverages II-2023 (HCMC FOODEX 2023) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in the southern economic hub on June 28.

The event features nearly 250 booths showcasing products from 200 big domestic and international businesses in the food industry such as Vinamilk, Binh Tay Food, Bidrico, Sagri, Cholimex, Satra and Vissan.

The HCMC FOODEX 2023 is expected to support food production enterprises to introduce products of Vietnamese brands and good quality to the world market and vice versa. It serves as a platform for strengthening business opportunities between local and foreign manufacturers and distributors.

This is a premise to promote business cooperation opportunities and attract effective investment resources for units in the food and food industry.

In addition, under the framework of HCMC FOODEX, a broad range of trade promotion activities, with workshops and talk shows discussing the latest trends in the food processing sector and sustainable growth strategies for the industry will be held, such as "New trends and technologies in the processed food industry"; "Improving competitiveness for food industry enterprises entering the Chinese market"; “Strategies and challenges for food businesses when entering the global market”; “The future of green, clean and sustainable food”.

The highlight of the exhibition is the activities to introduce and promote Vietnamese and international culinary culture throughout the exhibition period. These events are organized by famous artisans, culinary experts, and Vietnamese and international businesses participating in the exhibition.

According to the Investment & Trade Promotion Centre of Ho Chi Minh City, the exhibition is not only a bridge to help domestic and international businesses have the opportunity to cooperate, but also a forum for businesses to exchange and share advanced technologies in the field of food production and processing.
