Starting July 28, a new TV drama titled 11 Months and 5 Days is still another Vietnam Film Company's project on the youth.
The film revolves around the story and life of the female character Tue Nhi (played by Kha Ngan), a young woman from a wealthy family with a haughty personality who always wants to be the center of attention. Tue Nhi decided to leave Ho Chi Minh City to the north to start a new career.
With this unpleasant personality, Tue Nhi had to face many problems when she started a new life alone, having conflicts with new neighbors after renting an apartment . That's the hostel's landlady with a fickle personality (played by artist Van Dung); it's Dang, the grumpy chef.
According to screenwriter Lai Phuong Thao, 11 Months and 5 Days is a film with the theme of youth, dealing with the maturing process of the female protagonist who is between 25 and 26 years old and faces many problems. "I hope the public will find themselves in it with the problems of youth, with the ambitions that are sometimes realized, sometimes lost due to mistakes and generation conflicts," she said.
Director Nguyen Duc Hieu said: "After staying at the hostel, Tue Nhi had to change her viewpoint on life, feelings and thoughts. She had to work hard to get used to the routine there."
The film airs in the prime-time slot at 9:30 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on VTV3 starting July 28, 2021.
