Vietnamese TV series on VTV are always of great interest to the audience. Over the past years, Vietnamese dramas made by the Television Production Center (VFC) have left good imprints on television audiences. Those TV dramas such as Youth, Marriage in a Narrow Alley, When a Widower Burst into Tears, Zippo, Mustard and You, Living with Mother-in-Law, Judge, A Whole Life of Resentment, That Day We Fall in Love, Quynh Doll, Labyrinth, Go home, The girls in the City ... certainly still remain in the audience’s memory even though their screenings have ended.
With diverse genres, talented casts, directors and screenwriters, the aforementioned dramas have created a strong transformation for Vietnamese TV movies in prime-time. Since then, the new generation of actors and actresses has gained reputation. Their continuous appearance in Vietnamese TV movies also shows their progress in acting.
Following the success of the Vietnamese TV series in 2019, in 2020, viewers of VTV will be watching new blockbusters, meeting the talented casts playing different roles. The upcoming TV movies to be broadcast on VTV channels this year will be: Love and Ambition (directed by Bui Tien Huy), Hostel Balanha (directed by Nguyen Khai Anh), Red Sand (directed by Meritorious Artist Luu Trong Ninh) , Don't Make Me Forget (directed by Vu Minh Tri), Successor (directed by Meritorious Artist Mai Hong Phong).
In each of the TV movie mentioned above, the actors who are familiar with the audience such as: Manh Truong, Huyen Lizzie, Phuong Oanh, Thanh Son, Nhan Phuc Vinh, La Thanh Huyen, Quynh Kool, Xuan Nghi, Huynh Anh, Tuan Tu, Ha Viet Dung ... will transform into characters with personalities different from ones we used to see.
