Preservation of Banh Com
VTV.vn - In the 1860s, the first Banh Com (Green sticky rice cake) was made at 11 Hàng Than Street, Hanoi, under the brand named Nguyên Ninh.
Ups and downs have passed, but the specialty of Hàng Than street has not only become a legendary symbol of Hanoi, but also a memory of many Hanoians. As long as authentic Banh Com is preserved, the soul of old Hanoi remains alive.
