VTV.vn - Safety measures must be tightened to prevent outbreaks in hospitals.

This was requested by leaders of the Ministry of Health at an online meeting held yesterday afternoon with the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 and the K Hospital in Tan Trieu Commune in Hanoi, both of which are currently under lockdown.

At the meeting, leaders of the Ministry of Health asked the hospitals to implement epidemic prevention measures in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health such as regulations on isolation, periodic testing, and screening.

Experts also warned that the new strains of the Sars-Cov-2 virus have few clinical manifestations. As such, vigilance must be enhanced when screening for infections.

Leaders of the Ministry of Health affirmed that they will provide maximum support for the two hospitals in fighting their outbreaks and treating patients.
