VTV.vn - At the summit on ASEAN 2020, ASEAN Secretary-General Lim Jock Hoi highlighted Vietnam's contributions to ASEAN and emphasized the position and increasing role of Vietnam in the region and in the international arena.

He lauded Vietnam's dual role of ASEAN President 2020 and as a non - permanent member of the UN Security Council (2020 - 2021). The Secretary-General of ASEAN also affirmed that he and the ASEAN Secretariat would make every effort to support Vietnam to successfully promote and implement the set objectives.
