At Quan Thanh Xuan in August, the audience will meet people who worked at Vietnam Television (VTV) from the early difficult early days, when the National Television at that time was just the Television Department of the Radio the Voice of Vietnam, which was headquartered at No. 58 building, Quan Su street, Hanoi.

Journalist Nguyen Van Vinh was one of the first cameramen of Vietnam Television. At the program, he will share his memories of the first broadcast at Studio 58 in Quan Su street, telling about homemade equipment by engineers at that time. After days and nights of research, the technicians installed the first electronic camera which they called "Sky Horse", which was only able to capture blurry images.

Meanwhile, Thuy Van, the first female camera operator of VTV, said that the general feeling at that time was "fear". They felt fear because their job was too new.

The old faces of VTV for a while will appear in the interview clips: cinematographer Tran Ngoc Hieu, reporter Bich Thu, host Bich Ngoc ... On the set, the audience will meet news host Kim Tien, Huong Lien, Meritorious Artist Duc Khue camera operator Thuy Van and journalist Nguyen Van Vinh.

The person in charge of music and arts programs on VTV in the early period was the female director Bui An Ninh. She was also the person who directly produced the first foreign music programs on VTV3 channel with young editors, Anh Tuan, Diem Quynh, who will tell funny behind-the-scenes stories in the show.

Quan Thanh Xuan in August, in addition to reopening beautiful memory pages of the black and white era of Vietnam Television, also brings moments of relaxation for generations of audiences.
