More than VND28 billion to support the "Heart for you" program

VTV.vn - As of December 15, the "Heart for You" program has received contributions worth more than VND28 billion from organizations, companies and individuals across the country.

The 11th holding of the mega show “Heart for you” taking place on December 15th had left many emotional moments for the viewers. The audience has been listening to impressive stories and figures in the eleven -year journey accompanying poor pediatric patients with congenital heart defects.

The program hopes this compassionate journey will continue and spread wider so that more and more patients will receive free heart surgery every year.

By the end of the show, Heart for you has received more than VND28 billion to support poor congenital heart patients nationwide from many organizations, businesses, and individuals. Also, up to now, the program has received more than VND2 billion VND in SMS donations from individuals. The messaging program will close until 30/12/2019.

2019 continues to be a successful year of “Heart for you” as it supported the cost of heart surgery for more than 550 children, a number which is 10% higher than the previous year. Also in 2019, the program organized 13 screening activities for 30.000 patients, doubling the number of 2018. Besides, to help families be in touch with the program, the organizer has added more than 300 receiving points, bringing the total number of points of receiving patients of “Heart for you” to 1.200 . During the past 11 years, “Heart for you” has successfully supported the heart operations of nearly 5.200 children across the country.

With the help and share from organizations, businesses, individuals, “Heart for you” will bring more opportunities for congenital heart patients who are in difficult circumstances.
